  • Feeding support clinic - Tillage Hall, Waterbeach, Wednesday 10-11am. This is free and no appointment is needed. There is a lactation consultant (Sarah Oakley) as well as an osteopath and speech therapist. They can help with all types of feeding - breastfeeding, bottle or weaning.
  • Breastfeeding Support - Chesterton Children's Centre, 10-12am Wednesday. La Leche volunteers can help with breastfeeding issues.
  • La Leche League - International charity supporting breastfeeding mothers. Telephone helpline, local groups and online information.
  • Rosie Hospital - Breastfeeding Information leaflet
  • Tongue-tie is a very common condition, occurring in 1 in 10 babies. Despite this it is not part of the standard newborn checks. It may have no effect but can cause feeding issues, reflux and extreme discomfort and distress for both baby and mother. The good news is it is very easy to fix. If you think your baby may have a tongue-tie, visit one of the groups above.
