Lambing Open Day

CWA Woodside farm, Milton, is having a Lambing Open Day this Saturday, 2nd May, 10am-12noon.

Tickets may be purchased online (CWA.ac.uk/camshop) in advance, £1.50 per person, or on the door, £2. Under 3's are free.

Lamb feeding, chicks, llama, crafts, tractors - lots to see and do.

Activity charges at Childrens Centre

There are charges for some Children's Centre groups and activities now.

This money will be reinvested into Children's Centres and will help to continue to provide activities, materials and equipment.

Your family may be able to attend for free.

You will be eligible for free vouchers if your household income is less than £16,190 per year and you get Child Tax Credits.

If you don't meet this criteria, but the cost of sessions would prevent you from attending for other reasons please do talk to the staff as they may be able to help.

Free Hartbeeps taster sessions

Dolphin Children Centre is holding some FREE music & movement sessions by Hartbeeps (www.hartbeeps.com) on two Saturdays in March. These sessions are a fun way to support your children to learn through music and movement.

First Aid for Parents

They will be running a Paediatric First Aid course for parents on Saturday 28^th March 2015 between 9.30 -12.30 at Dolphin Children’s Centre in Waterbeach.  The cost will be £10 per person. There are some concessions available so please speak to a member of staff if you think you may be eligible. Telephone 01223 472791 to book a place.

Parent Forum, Dolphin Children's Centre

Parent Forum at 9am Thursday 26th Feb (tomorrow) at the Dolphin Children's Centre.

I believe the purpose is to get feedback and suggestions from parents about the Centre facilities and what we'd like it to offer going forward. This is your Centre, so I would encourage you to participate if you can. If you can't come but have comments, postv them to the facebook group and I'll pass them on.

You can bring children with you, as the playroom will be open during the meeting.

Preschool art classes at Denny Abbey

Preschool Picassos art classes at Denny Abbey farmland museum. A course of 4 x 45-minute sessions every Wednesday 29th April to 20th May 2015, 10.00-10.45am. For young artists aged 2 to 5 led by local artist and tutor: Ann Biggs. Price £15 for course of 4 sessions, (pre-booking essential).

Farmer Tom's Open Morning

Seasonal event: January-April, every other Saturday (7th, 21st March, 4th, 18th April) Farmer Tom's open morning, Woodside farm, Milton, 11-1pm. Farm animals to see and feed and tractors. Muddy! So wear puddle suit and wellies. £5 per family, £2.50 if bought online in advance (recommended).

Outdoor toddler walk

Monday 23rd Feb 10am.
Meeting at the Waterbeach Station car park, to explore the nature reserve behind.

We've been warned it is muddy, so wellies, puddle suits, towels and change of clothes recommended!
